Country Marketing Manager

What You’ll Be Doing

    • Develop the strategy for and project manage all local marketing activities including:
    • Paid online acquisition (FB/Insta ads, SEM, GDN etc.)
    • CRM (via email, push notifications, in-app banners etc.)
    • Organic social media (FB, Insta, Twitter, Youtube, influencers/bloggers etc.)
    • Offline marketing (in-store, offline activations, events, out-of-home advertising etc.)
    • Public relations (coverage in print, radio, TV, online media, blogs)
    • Partnerships (with other startups, telcos, banks etc.)
    • Ensuring consistent brand messaging and communications
    • Analysing the performance of all marketing activities and channels
    • Leading projects and campaigns which will bring high-quality customers into the marketing funnel
    • Managing a team who will support you with the above (providing sufficient leadership, direction, motivation and mentorship for your team members)
    • Keeping up-to-date with market trends and come up with creative ideas that are one step ahead of the competition
    • Sharing best practices with peers in other HappyFresh countries
    • Liaising and coordinating with Group marketing efforts
    • Ensuring tight communication and synchronization with other departments in the local team

 

Who We Are Looking For

    • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
    • 6+ years experience in marketing or marketing-related fields (e.g., communications, brand management, public relations, event management), ideally in an e-commerce, FMCG or consumer retail company. Previous experience working in a startup or dynamic high-growth company is a plus.
    • Strong experience with both online/digital marketing, as well as offline/traditional marketing
    • Strong leadership ability with proven track-record of effectively managing teams
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to get hands dirty
    • Technically capable with acute analytical skills and a data-driven mentality – you know the relevant KPIs and how to work with them
    • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysi
